WOOD FURNITURE MAINTENANCE AND PROTECTION

Wooden furniture care; It is done with regular dusting, protection from moisture and sunlight, and periodic polishing steps. Here are the basic steps you can follow to extend the life of your furniture and maintain its first-day appearance:

Daily and Weekly Cleaning: * Remove dust by lightly dampening it with a microfiber or soft cloth.

Be sure to wring the cloth well, as excessive wet cloths can cause the wood to blister.

Instead of heavy surface cleaners with chemical content, choose wood-specific soaps or a damp cloth.

Protection from Environmental Factors:

Sunlight: Direct sunlight fades the color of the wood and leads to cracking. Keep furniture slightly away from windows or use curtains.

Heat and Humidity: Do not place it right next to heat sources such as radiators and fireplaces. Very dry or very humid environments cause the wood to expand and crack.

Precautions for Use:

Be sure to use trivets and coasters under hot tea/coffee cups or cold beverage glasses.

Dry spilled liquids on furniture immediately to avoid stains.

Periodic Feeding and Polishing:

Prevent the wood from drying out and cracking by applying natural wax (wax) or wood care oils (e.g. walnut or almond oil) 1–2 times a year.

Rub the oil or wax in the direction of the wood grain and buff it with a soft cloth.
